Unlock the Helliquary as soon as you can, so you are ready to raid as soon as you get 420 Combat Rating. Hidden Lairs have a chance to drop Normal Gems and if you use a Crest, Elder Rifts have a chance to drop Legendary Gems. Keep an eye out for Desolatoria specifically, it's one of the strongest items the Necromancer can get. Take the Baleful Trinity for maximum damage. Earning Battle Points will allow you to unlock a Legendary Shield of your choosing. This stationary summon is great for getting 100+ kill streaks.

Turn on auto-pickup for all item types in settings and periodically return to town and upgrade your items. Upgrade your equipment at the Blacksmith.The bag icon starts glowing when you pick up better equipment.
